About Home Inspectors Forum
Our Story and Timeline
The Home Inspectors Forum was formed to give the home-inspection community a shared, professional space for learning and cooperation. Inspectors often work alone. HIF was created so they can exchange experience, keep up with changing building practices and build respectful relationships with the professions they work alongside.
Why HIF was established
- Inspectors, builders, architects, engineers and manufacturers rarely meet in one place to talk openly.
- Newcomers need clear guidance and a welcoming community.
- The public benefits from understanding what a home inspection is, and what it is not.
Who We Serve:
Home inspectors, newcomers, builders, architects, engineers, manufacturers, educators, real-estate and property professionals, homeowners and community members.
Where We Work:
HIF’s activity is focused on California and is organized by region as verified local representation grows.
